Winter is Coming!
And with it the annual HOLIDAY BAZAAR, which will
take place throughout our church on Saturday,
December 3rd, from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. The United
Methodist Women are moving quickly as their plans for
this year’s bazaar come to fruition. Crowd favorites
from past years will be offered again this year, including
the popular Café luncheon, featuring a choice of
homemade soups and pies during the sale hours.
Granny’s Attic, the Book Room, the Bake Shop, the
Pantry, the Greens Room, which will feature artificial
floral arrangements, as well as our fresh greens
decorations, and the always popular Boutique should
offer something special for all of our shoppers.
In order to make this year’s bazaar a successful
endeavor, we need your help. Consider helping with
Friday’s set-up and/or Saturday’s sale. We especially
need someone to take over Granny’s Attic since Shirley
Harris, our perennial “granny” has moved away. The
Greens Room can also use more help creating their
arrangements during the week prior to the Bazaar, and make sure you read the note from Carolyn Haight about the cafe.

“Many hands make light work!” Contact Joan Herring (243-4767) or the church office (243-3160) to volunteer your time!

All proceeds from this one-day sale become part of the United Methodist Women’s budget – all of which is dedicated to mission and outreach.
