In just a little more than a month, it will be time for our 29th annual 150 Family Yard Sale & Wellness Fair.  The date of this big event will be Saturday, August 26th (from 9 am until 3 pm).

You can help make this another fun and successful occasion for our church.  We will be collecting your items in the Fellowship Hall from 9 am until 3 pm from Monday, August 14th through Friday, August 18th.  You don’t have to price the items… just drop them off.  Receipts will be available for tax purposes.  If you have large items, please call the church office and we’ll arrange for a pick up.  Remember…we do not accept old (heavy) CRT television sets and/or computer monitors, entertainment centers, or old encyclopedia-like book sets.  Once donated items are received, they are priced, organized, and then stored in Sunday School rooms until the Friday before the sale, when they are brought out again in preparation for the next morning.

If you have items that you must bring down to the church before August 14th, PUT THEM IN THE “POD” storage unit in the West parking lot of the church. (Note…the POD will not be arriving until July 24th.) The POD will not be locked.  It will be checked daily for dropped off items, and they will then be taken elsewhere for storage until August 14th.  If at all possible, please do not bring items to the church before August 14th, since long-term storage is a real issue.  We will no longer be collecting non-furniture items after August 18th, and the POD will be locked at that time.

As always, it will be great to see the whole church working together on such a worthwhile project.  Let’s all make this year’s 150 Family Yard Sale & Wellness Fair the best ever!
