Don’t Come to the Church (building!)
This Sunday, September 10th, we will be celebrating the end of summer with our annual Worship at Long Point Park on Conesus Lake. Both our Praise Band and the Adult Choir will share their musical talents during the 10:30 am service. This will be our 11th year celebrating this special outdoor service.
Both our Praise Band and the Adult Choir will share their musical talents during the 10:30 am service, and Rev. Beth Malone will share her message on Psalm 23:6
Come for the worship, stay for the picnic! Immediately following the service we’ll be “breaking bread together” with a dish-to-pass picnic. As in the past, hamburgers, hot dogs, rolls and beverages will be provided, with families being asked to bring their own table service, as well as a favorite dish to be shared. But don’t worry if you can’t bring something to share. We’re sure, like the “loaves and fishes,” there will be more than enough to feed everyone!
Everyone is invited to be a part of this long-standing tradition of gathering for worship and a shared meal at the lake — a fitting close to summer before our fall services begin at 8:30 am and 10:30 am in our sanctuary. See you there!
