Rev. Beth S. Malone
Senior Pastor
Rev. Beth Malone has been serving in ministry in the United Methodist Church since 2002 and at Geneseo UMC since 2020. She holds a Master of Divinity from Colgate Rochester Crozer Divinity School. Her prior appointments include Auburn, Lyndonville, Nunda, West Sparta, and Rush UMCs.
Pastor Beth’s passion is sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ through the work of the Holy Spirit. “I love praise music, as well as creative ways to design our worship spaces. However, having been baptized and raised by several generations in the Hilton United Methodist Church, I fully appreciate all of our beloved United Methodist traditions, including hymns.”
Ms. Kathy Rosier
Administrative Assistant and Office Manager
Kathy has served Geneseo UMC since 1998. You can usually find her in the office from 11:00 am – 4:30 pm during the week, except for Wednesdays.
Kathy is your first “point of contact” with Geneseo UMC. She answers the phones, manages room reservations, keeps the church calendar, creates and edits the newsletter and bulletins… and more!
Mrs. Cynthia Towler
Music Director
The music ministry of our church is a family within the church family who give their testament of faith each week through their music. We have many opportunities to “make a joyful noise” through Bell Choir, Senior Choir, Junior Choir, Youth Choir, Cherub Choir, Praise Band, and Soloists. Everyone is welcome to join us.
Mrs. Gwyneth Jones-Wenninger
Praise Team Leader
Gwyneth began her music ministry here at Geneseo UMC in 2016. She leads the Praise Band for our 8:30 am non-traditional service. If you ask her what her favorite song is, she’ll say “All of them!”

Dave keeps our facilities clean and in working order. He’s one of those “behind the scenes” workers that you rarely see, but we can’t do without!

Nursery Attendant
Marissa comes to us with a background in home health care. Shes’ volunteered at the Teresa House comfort home and Literacy Volunteers of America. Marissa is available every Sunday,during both services, to watch over your little ones in the Nursery.
