Pastor Keith Griswold asks, “Have you ever wondered about what upsets God? In Jesus, the Son of God, we gain an understanding, and we see it when he turned over the tables.” Today’s scripture reading is John 2:13-22.

Our call to worship today comes from Psalm 19:7-14.

Here is a great song to lead into today’s worship: To Obey is Better than Sacrifice, by Keith Green.

So, if Jesus was angry about the economic exploitation of people; if Jesus was angry about the things that undermined people’s faith and worship, shouldn’t we be too?

  • John 13:34-35
  • Matthew 23:13-33

What systems do we need to address and advocate to change?  “Learn to do right, seek justice, defend the oppressed.”

We close today with “I Love Thy Kingdom, Lord”
