Join Us This Holy Week
We invite you to join us this solemn week leading up to the celebration of Jesus’ resurrection. We’re offering a number of services.
Palm Sunday, April 13
8:30 and 10:30 am Worship Services
We will celebrate Jesus’ Triumphant journey into Jerusalem waving our palm branches, and with shouts of Hosanna in the highest. Palms will be available at both services.
Maundy Thursday, April 17
6:30 pm – Foot Washing Service
A humble foot washing service in the Wesley room. A tradition that Jesus offered his Disciples. Wear removable foot wear. Everyone will have their own bowl and towels for washing. Pastor Beth will lead us.
7:00 pm – Maundy Thursday Service
We will gather in the Sanctuary to celebrate Jesus’ last Supper with his disciples.
Good Friday, April 18
7:00 pm – Good Friday Worship Service
A beautiful time of worship with readings and hymns. As we welcome the darkness and seriousness of the night we connect with all Jesus went through for us.
Easter Sunday, April 20
7:00 am – Outdoor Easter Sunrise Service
Worship in the Parnell Pavilion. All are welcome! Dress warmly, bring a lawn chair and blanket.
8:00 am – Easter Breakfast in the Fellowship Hall
Enjoy a special Easter breakfast featuring egg casseroles, fruit, pastries, and juice.
10:00 am – Coming Together Easter Service
A traditional celebration with beautiful music, honoring our 200-year history as a church. Do you remember wearing your Sunday’s best, an Easter dress, orchid corsage, suit and tie, white gloves and an Easter Bonnet? Those were the days! It would be fun if we could re-create the excitement of Easter days gone by. P.S. If you would rather not, please come as you are! No Judgement here!!! All are welcome!
Sunday, April 27
9:30 am – New Combined Service at a new time!
Continue to celebrate the Easter season each week leading up to Pentecost at our new 9:30 am Combined Service. The service will include music from the Praise Band and Senior Choir, along with a special Message from Pastor Beth Malone.
