While I was away on vacation I had some time to think about the amazing celebration with our Bishop that took place on February 2nd.  What stood out for me was the full sanctuary, the beautiful way everyone came together to organize the service, and the great energy that was the result.

For some time, I have been encouraged to consider one worship service on Sunday instead of two, so I spent time in prayer and listening to God’s direction while I was away.

Beginning on April 27th we will offer one combined worship service, including both our Praise Band and Chancel Choir, and liturgical readings, on Sundays at 9:30 am, with Fellowship/Coffee Hour following.  Childcare will be available.

Children’s Sunday School will be offered on the third Sunday of the month after Children’s Moment, around 9:45 am.  Adult Sunday School will follow the service, except for the first Sunday of the month, at 10:45 am.

As we join together as one body, let us be patient with one another, kind (you may find someone sitting in your seat, exploring a new one), and willing to let the Spirit take us in a new direction.
